Vervain - Verbena Triphylla

Verbenaceae — the verbena family or vervain family.

The infusion is tonic, it promotes the functions of the skin. It is used against painful digestions and colic in the stomach, against palpitations, headaches and urine retention.

N.B: the fragrant verbena planted in our gardens is different from the common verbena not present in Tunisia. Excessive use can irritate the stomach and even causes gastritis.
