Salicylic acid is used to remove dead cells in the outer layer of the skin, especially in difficult cases such as acne, warts, psoriasis, dandruff and ringworm.
It is also used to lighten dark areas of the body and to remove grains and their effects, thus contributing to the renewal of the outer layer of the skin.
It is used in creams to treat intractable cases and is also used in some shampoos to treat dandruff
Salicylic acid works by removing the outer layer, dead cells and bacteria, making the process of removing skin cells faster and facilitating the rebuilding of new cells. It opens the closed pores and adjusts the acidity of the skin, which prevents the pores from becoming clogged again and thus allowing the cells to regenerate.
Salicylic acid is often mixed with lanolin to treat most skin problems. It is also mixed with cosmetic beeswax and raw shea butter.
Result: luminous complexion, new cells, younger-looking skin, hydrated and clean skin, opening of closed pores that cause acne
